As the sun rose, welcoming us to day five of passage, Ruben and I, aka Vampire no. 1 and 2, started our first day without sunlight below deck. Due to the new medications that are supposed to heal our vampire-illness, we will be living this amazing lifestyle of paleness for the next ten days. Today is a very relaxed day; everybody caught up on sleep and work, finishing or starting the midterm leadership essay that was due at dinner. After some amazing lunch of tomato soup and even better biscuits, we came together in the polar-cold-airconditioned salon. Today’s intellectual dose consisted of another fabulous oceanography lecture brought by the amazing Alex and some outstanding talks during leadership with Tina. Between classes and Hibicleans shower 3.0, some fantastic bilge-demon-cleansing was done, followed by a watch team four sunflower-seasoning, which we can hopefully enjoy tomorrow. Being on passage makes everyone realize how low we are running on snacks. Conversations about food and cold beverages are getting more and more frequent as the days pass by.
We are hoping for some more wind and decreasing infections in the next few days.

Please send us wind and snacks – Love, Luna (Vampire no.2)
