Location: Underway to Lisbon (nearly halfway!)
Ellery Hodges would like to say hello to everyone. She is sitting next to me as I (Stella) write this. Watch team 1, my watch, had the 8-12 this morning, where Lorelai and I did our laundry on the bow. We saw spinner dolphins! Henry asked us to wash his sweatpants, which seemed harmless, until a used handkerchief fell out of the pocket. I didnt know people still used handkerchiefs, but I guess you learn something new every day. During our watch, Lorelai, Julia, and I also pumped up the dinghies. Now they are not sad and deflated anymore. Henry, Lorelai, Ridge, Bryce, Julia, Forbes, and I practiced our knots for our Navmaster class. Bryce is a very good teacher. This morning on watch team 2, Jerry caught a bird, and Max scared Hannah because they were telling horror stories. Apparently Hannah fell over because she was so scared. (Just to clarify, I love Hannah! She is the best, and she even has my birthday memorized.) We had Mac and cheese for lunch, prepared by the chef, Matt. Following lunch, we had our leadership and Navmaster class. Ellery, Nate, and I locked in, and we got the question right during Navmaster. You should all be proud of us due to unsaid circumstances. Mac ate like 20 bags of popcorn (pronounced pupcorn), and I wouldnt be surprised if he was secretly some popcorn gremlin who was actually made of popcorn. After class, Ellery, Oona, Declan and I went up with Emma to hang out in the cockpit.
There were man-of-war in the ocean. Emma led a deck walk, where she explained what every single line does, and Alex, Christian, and Wilkes tuned in for it. For dinner we had ground beef and potatoes, and Ellery and I had ketchup. My squeeze question was not actually a question; I made everyone do their best hippo impression the winners had to be Giles, Noah, Ellery, and Ophelia. Ellory had the worst hippo impression. She is really bad at pretending to be a hippo. Dont ask her to be a hippo. Lorelai and Oona are currently cleaning the heads (bathrooms), and theyre great at it.
