Today we enjoyed the peace of Prince Rupert Bay, Dominica. The topography of the island serves as a beautiful backdrop for the day’s activities; marine biology, some personal study time, a class on leadership, and dinghy school to cap it off. Our cadet crew this afternoon operated our tiller-steer dinghy, Exy, for the first time. They are now proficient at planning have gained some good experience in recovering a MOB, docking, and executing tight turns at speed. The entire crew is looking forward to getting into the interior in the days to come and exploring the island’s many waterfalls, rivers, and other beautiful features.
