Location: Savannah Bay, B.V.I.
The crew of Ocean Star woke up in Savannah Bay, ready to dive. The experienced divers got right in the water to practice their skills while the rest of us were below deck watching PADI videos and preparing for our first time in the water. Many of the experienced divers were happy to get their fins wet once again, and the first-timers were equally excited to learn new skills. In addition to diving, we learned how to tie some new knots and operate the dingy. The day flew by, and before we knew it, we were eating on the deck, watching the sunset, and discussing our favorite movies. By now, we know each other’s names and are starting to warm up to one another. The reality of living on a sailboat for three weeks is setting in, and we’re all realizing this is going to be the experience of a lifetime.
