Location: Savannah Bay
Today, all students finally got to do some breathing underwater. The open water divers began and finished checkouts one through five, completing all of their skill sets like some real champs, while the two rescuers finished up the last of the confined water dives. While the open water divers were finishing up, the rescue crew, accompanied by Kyle and led by our DM Haley, did a nice little shallow water dive. Right below us was a field of tiny conchs. Never seen so many in my life. Travis, the bossman, came in today and will be spending some time with us. We are absolutely stoked to have him and even more stoked about what’s in store tomorrow.
