Today started with scrumptious breakfast sandwiches, as well as a debate on how one should cut the sausage, horizontally, so they lay flat on your English muffin, or in half and then squish them down? We are truly expanding our intellectual prowess.
Following that, we set out on a relaxed dive through “The Devils Table,” our second dive required to attain our Advanced Open Water certification. This dives focus was on fish identification; I think we were all surprised and excited to look around the dive site and recognize more fish than we thought we would quite an amazing experience. Following the dives and lunch we had oceanography and seamanship classes, and in every spare moment you could take a look around and see frantic studying, essay writing, and reading. It seems midterms happen not only in college on land but on boats too!
