Location: Underway to the Azores

Today is October 1st which has marked the 4th day of our voyage. Most of the crew has gotten over seasickness with many smiles returning to Argo. Starting the day off well with rain and some pretty cold wind didn’t affect the mood on watch teams as we watched dolphins, whales, and even a shark at one point past the boat today. The piercing wind and cold eventually died down, turning to a calm sea state and an amazing sunset as we all enjoyed a wonderful meal. We had someone unwillingly test the PFD’s today, which was one of the highlights, along with setting up another sail (the jib!) after the main staysail got torn earlier in the passage. Today might have started harsh, but that didn’t get to the crew’s mood as we pushed on into another amazing day of passage.
