Location: Dominica

We have officially left Dominica and kicked off our first multi-day sail! We didn’t head out until just before dinner, so the students spent all day diving, passage prepping, and studying for upcoming quizzes and exams. Many of the students who got open water certified the other day are already well on their way to becoming advanced open water certified! They did a deep dive down the mooring line this morning while other divers speared more lionfish. As most people got sail covers off and halyards on to prep to get underway, Morgan G was cooking up a storm in the galley, making her famous naan. It was so good. We had a beautiful sunset as we ate dinner and waved goodbye to the beautiful green mountains of Dominica behind us. Everyone is excited to see the stars tonight as we sail through our first night. The plan is to arrive in Bonaire on the 22nd, where we will be doing lots of diving, some windsurfing, and other fun activities.

Dear Mum, Dad, Derek & Andrew – I love and miss you guys so much!
