Location: Underway to Devils Island

Were backkkk in the northern hemisphere! We crossed the equator at 3:58 after some evasive maneuvers to not cross before everyone who wanted to be up was up. Once everyone was up, we crossed, and it was pretty eventful. Lots of confetti and sprinkles and a giant camo line marking the spot. Mostly everyone woke up as we crossed and then immediately went to bed because we love sleep here. Watch team three then spent the 8-12 hours vacuuming the head bilges because we had a little faucet situation in the heads. Then we got everyone up, and on deck, because there was a fishing vessel that was coming to say hi, just jokes, they just passed by pretty close. After we had lunch, which was chicken with coleslaw made by Henry and Hannah K., we had leadership and oceanography. In Leadership, Hannah Y. and Henry did their chapter presentations, and in oceanography, we learned about winds and ocean circulation. Then we all had time to study for our marine bio test tomorrow, and Reed got his haircut by Vittoria and Erin. Dinner was more beautiful chicken and rice, thank you, Henry. After clean-up, Mac showed us the basics of the sextant, which was super cool. Its this fancy navigation tool that lets you measure celestial objects in line with the horizon, and now its back to watch. Bye bye
