Location: Gustavia, St. Barths
Today was a smooth and relaxing day. We started out with cereal for breakfast and then an MTE class, during which we learned more about navigation. After class, we had the chance to explore St. Barths for the day. It was nice to be able to enjoy the tasty pastries and coffee on the French island, as well as the beaches in the surrounding area. Some of us walked to the airport, where we could watch the airplanes land, which was quite a sight to see. The planes have a short runway, and they come down close to a hill, which makes them unique. We visited the town near us called St. Jean and explored the shops and beaches around the area. Afterward, we enjoyed our freshwater showers, ate dinner, and had a class in oceanography. All in all, it was a great day being in St. Barths.
