Location: Gustavia, St. Barths
This morning we awoke surrounded by a menagerie of large motor yachts at anchor off Gustavia – yes, we were indeed in St. Barths. We spent the morning flaking sails, mopping floors and generally making Ocean Star presentable again after our passage last night. When Kevin returned from customs, he brought word that there was space for us in the harbor. So we pulled up anchor and prepared for docking stern-to the dock, a procedure that would eventually involve three anchors and a dinghy to get us right where we needed to be. That completed, we ventured forth to explore Gustavia, which is a wonderful town.
