Location: Terre de Haut, Les Saintes

Today the morning started with an 0700 wakeup. Once everyone was up and on deck, we quickly moved to raise anchor and move around the corner to just outside Terre de Haut, a beautiful French town with amazing views and food. Everyone was moving with a purpose this morning since, after breakfast and cleanup, we had time ashore to unwind and experience the village for ourselves. Several people went on a shopping spree and explored much of the village in doing so, while others took the time to relax and catch up with their families. Everyone, however, managed to pick up their laundry by 1200 since many of the shops close from midday to 1400. Pickup from town was scheduled for 1330 for us to start the Emergency First Responder course back on board. The EFR course is done both as an independent course and as a requirement for the PADI Rescue Diver course. Everyone was taught the primary care part of the course, including how to do effective CPR. After that, everyone had free time then dinner, followed by Marine Biology with Steve
