Location: Terre De Haut, Les Saintes
The day started with an amazing breakfast prepared by today’s head chef Amanda, complimented with the sunny day and amazing views of the French islands in the distance. After breakfast, we had an oceanography class where we reviewed for the upcoming midterm. Shortly after, head captain Dragon hosted the crew in the cockpit to learn how to plot on paper charts. Once class was finished, we spent the rest of the day discovering the island of Les Saintes. This was much-needed downtime for the crew as we all relaxed on the beach, walked around town, and snorkeled a shipwreck. As the sun started to set, we returned to the ship for dinner. Finishing our day with a sailing documentary.
