Location: Prickly Bay, Grenada

Today around noon, we pulled into Grenada. It was a long three-day passage of non-stop sailing. Everyone is so happy that we get to see land again! The crew’s morale is at an all-time high. Today after we anchored in Prickly Bay, we did what Capt. Eric likes to call a BA. That stands for boat appreciation. Boat appreciation is basically when we clean the boat inside and out. It took a couple of hours of hard work, but the Ocean Star is sparkly clean now. We did everything from swabbing the deck, polishing the cap rails, rust busting the hull, and cleaning the salon and heads. The Ocean star was in desperate need of a thorough clean after the long voyage. So here we are cleaning the dishes after a delicious meal of stir fry that Brendan and David S made. The sun has just set. The Caribbean Is still beautiful. Rumors of mountain hiking and town exploring in the near future have us all excited and ready for the next day
