Location: Atlantic Ocean (Middle)

Is it day 30?!? and the 8-12 watch was as productive as ever with Maddie sewing and then re-sewing a new cover for our companionway (I think she learned to sew halfway through the job; it took a while, but it’s very well done!) Check out the photos for proof! Nini helmed for the first hour before heading below deck to chef it up in the galley; with Zac and Talia as her sous chefs, they whipped up a lunch of tomato soup and quesadillas, a surprise to be sure but a welcome one. Benny was bouncing ideas for his short film off Ben whilst at the helm; expect big things, people! And I think Cecily is trying to bride our South African captain because she spent all morning in the galley making Rusks, a South African delicacy. Whats a rusk? Imagine Muesli but in brick form…

I spent the afternoon in the salon deep in an edit for the next episode of Argo’s docu-series. Stay tuned for whale sharks and dolphins! I got to enjoy the afternoon classes as i worked away and a special shoutout to Eli for rocking his presentation in Nicoles leadership class.

Ben then taught some marine biology, specifically Marine microorganisms, so Sylver Isaac and Nini got super science with the microscopes for their research projects.

Olympus is back to walking again after introducing her toe to a stantion at high speed, not exactly the ideal night watch activity but shes been a trooper and is marching on!

Zac, Kiki, Talia & Ben all sat an exam for their PSCT course, too, so their all eagerly awaiting the results!

Dinner was a far more traditional affair of jerk chicken (EDIT: Nini couldnt find the jerk seasoning, so it’s “Jerk Adjacent”) bowls, which went down a treat.

Mum, Dad, John & Anne, I miss you guys! Mum, give my best to Dash as I’m guessing that Johns left him with you whilst hes in Mexico

Ps Darien sends lots of love and can’t think of what else to say, but the feelings are meaningful.

Pps I’m getting to write this to another gooey sunset. Evidence attached
