Location: OTW to BRAZILLLLL

Today was absolutely awesome!! We started off strong with a 12-4 am watch where Watch Team Three got serenaded with an original song by Watch Team One’s one and only Isaac. The boat is right on the cusp of a watch team song battle,e and it really starts the night off right. It was Sylver’s birthday today and we celebrated by waking everyone in their watch team except them with a terrifying CPR mannequin head. Happy 21st Sylver!!!
Also!! Last night at 3 am, Calum woke up to post our very first Youtube documentary-thing that the very talented Dave made. Go check it out if you want to see some pretty awesome stuff. The weather today was absolutely beautiful and was especially appreciated because Argo’s air conditioning made a very welcome first appearance. There was a little stress on board today because everyone was cramming for our Oceanography mid-term eesh. Shout out to Darien and Nini for helping me study and debriefing the test afterward. It was kind of a doozy but I think we did alright. Our PSCT friends (Talia, Keke, Zac, and Ben) are going through it right now because they have to learn a billion different light combinations for their big test tomorrow, and everyone is very grateful not to be in their shoes, haha.
Some more ship pranks were sprinkled throughout the day, including some underwear ending up on the flag halyard, which was pretty funny. We ended the day off with some pizza and brownies, which felt like a true party. We all made some cool Argo friendship bracelets with soft shackles yesterday. Ben and Benny both had overnight transformations recently; Ben woke up with a mustache, and Benny now has a shaved head! The sunset is amazing, and spirits are high! Everyone misses their families and sends them lots and lots of love.
To my fam and friends: I miss you guys, and you would all love this experience; I can’t wait to tell you all about it. I wish I’d been able to communicate more from St. Helena, but hopefully,y Fernando will be easier. Mom: I think I’m certifiably beating the Brits at their own tea-drinking game, thanks to you! Dad: I’ve spotted some of the constellations we found in Africa, and it’s so cool to see them changing as we cross the Atlantic. Sarah: One of my watch team leaders totally reminds me of you (Nicole) because she’s artsy and craftsy and awesome, just like you. I love all you guys, LOADS!!!
Talia says she misses and loves her fam as well!
To Lexi from Zac – Hey Lexi (and the fam), I miss you all so much and hope you can keep up with what I’m up to. I’ll hopefully be able to give you guys a Facetime call when we reach Fernando.
Benny says love and miss you, Mom and Dad.
