We started our day off at dark thirty in the morning. With a belly full of cereal, we set off for our hike to the Boiling Lake. Unlike our hike to the top of Mt. Pelee, which had very low vegetation and was quite cloudy, the Boiling Lake trail was through lush rainforest. We were soaked in the first thirty minutes. We had an amazing time of vigorous ascents, steep descents, hot spring baths, breathtaking views, hidden waterfalls, and Pancho’s fish salad and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. We ended this already incredible day with a night out at the “Port Of Call” restaurant and bar, where we had a fine meal and some good laughs.
