Today, we had our first full day in Cape Town! We had a free day, and most of us stayed close to the boat. I took a nap after breakfast. I was trying to catch up on some sleep; however, I kept thinking about how close we were to the end of this trip. Only a couple more days, then we leave our beautiful Argo! I woke up and went to the movie theater. I watch the newest Hunger Games movie! After the movie, I walked around the mall and looked for presents because tomorrow is Argo Christmas. I finally had lunch at a cafe shop in the mall. I came home to Argo early and cleaned up my bunk (well, kind of). My squeeze question was, what is a habit you have started on Argo that you will bring home? I said that I would put spoons in my jam now because Britt says it’s the best way to get jam. A lot of us said that we would be able to wake up at weird times of the night because we have become accustomed to the watch schedules. This was my last day as a skipper! This trip flew by, and I can’t believe it’s almost over. I love my Argo family so much, and I am so grateful for everything they have done for me. This trip has truly changed my life.
