Today, we woke up excited as we went on a fun dive around Pigeon Island. During the dive, we circumnavigated the small island along a wall of coral and saw a bust of Jaques Cousteau. Jaques Cousteau was the father of modern diving, and his statue was a great underwater photo opportunity for us. After the dive, we all got some last-minute study time before our OCE midterm. Lunch was spent chatting, fighting for shade, and some last-minute reviewing. Our midterm finally began at 1, and for most of the students, we were relieved at how well it went. After our midterm, we all enjoyed our free time on the boat. With internet and shower time, we were all content and enjoyed relaxing. The day ended on a high note with a delicious Mexican dinner. After dinner, we had our sailing class, where we learned some navigation and how to use charts.
