Location: Las Palmas, Gran Canaria

Today was another great day in the Canary Islands. To start off, we all enjoyed a breakfast comprised of a delicious egg bake coupled with cinnamon sugar pancakes, after which we transitioned into the last 2 rotations of the activities begun yesterday afternoon. The beach, EFR (Emergency First Responder) class, and diddy bags were all a huge hit again. We reconvened midday for a delicious pasta salad lunch and then finished off the last of our three activities. Many of us took some incredible naps during our free few hours before dinner. We then woke up beyond excited to find out that naan, a group favorite, was included in the dinner menu, alongside delicious chickpea curry. Everyone’s breadmaking skills are becoming almost professional level. For squeeze, the crew considered which TV show they would like to be a contestant in. Some of the most common answers were Amazing Race, American Ninja Warrior, Wipeout, and Survivor (we are now all expecting to see Julie as a future winner). Later tonight, we are all anxiously awaiting another incredible leadership class with Tim. Argo has made many amazing memories during our days in Las Palmas, yet tomorrow we will embark on our longest journey yet (a 2-hour sail) to the island of Tenerife. The local mini-mart and its impeccable ice cream supply will be sincerely missed as well as the company of our fellowships in the harbor.
