Today started with how an average morning on Argo would go. Cleaning the engine room bilge, along with the question that has yet to be answered, where is the water and oil leak!? Sarah and I prepared ourselves with some “Stay” by Fisher; however, I don’t say this often, more so ever, but no amount of house music could make this morning’s bilge clean enjoyable. However, Sarah and I persevered, and we finished just in time for my morning wake-upswhich you could say are dreaded around here.
Today started out with a very loud, and you could say rowdy wake-up! A new house song that Avi and I have been waiting for has been released, and we like to wake people with how every morning should begin. A little morning rave doesn’t hurt anyone, right? In the afternoon, we had both leadership and oceanography classes, which were very fascinating, and I only saw 5 out of the 23 students watching with their eyes closed, which seems like a record! I’ll leave it to you all to guess if that is a good or bad thing. After classes i think everyone along with myself was feeling a bit sleepy so I felt there was only one solution, an afternoon rave! ( of Zach’s top) Sometimes we switch music genres up on this boat.
Today, everyone had some work to catch up on, so our evening was filled with coconut shedding, stained orange fingers from Cheetos, different music blasting from every hatch, and some schoolwork sprinkled in there somewhere. We ended this evening with, of course, a dance party as the sun set, because there is no better way to start and end your day with house music.
I hope everyone at home is well and that my people are winning ski races, water polo games, and getting into college.
Congrats to Gavi for doing his helm-sona last night and earning the name “Michelm Obama”!
