Location: Montserrat
The day started at Nevis around 12 am on passage and arrived at Montserrat around 10:30 am. On Montserrat, there’s an amazing but dangerous active volcano. We took a tour of the island and first went to the Montserrat Volcano Observatory (MVO). The view of the volcano from the observatory was breathtaking. The volcano erupted and collapsed in 1997, destroying a local town called Plymouth. The tour also included visiting some buildings where the volcano hit. Toward the end of the tour, we had the main source of Montserrat’s spring water and homemade ice cream. Now, we are all getting prepared for a two-day passage to Grenada!
