The day started at Nevis around 12am on passage and arrived at Montserrat around 10:30am. On Montserrat there’s an amazing but dangerous active volcano. We took a tour of the island and first went to the Montserrat Volcano Observatory (MVO). The view of the volcano from the observatory was breath-taking. The volcano erupted and collapsed in 1997, destroying a local town called Plymouth. The tour also included visiting some buildings where the volcano hit. Towards the end of the tour we had the main source of Montserrat’s spring water and homemade ice cream. Now we are all getting prepared for a two day passage to Grenada!
