Location: Grande Anse D'arlet, Martinique
It was an early morning for some aboard. They raised the anchor at 6:00 from Grand Anse D’arlet and set off toward St. Pierre. We had breakfast underway at 7:30 and arrived shortly after only to hear shouting, horns, and sirens. As we arrived a street protest marched through the town. When we went into St. Pierre later nothing was open so we came back to Ocean Star and went swimming. Our swim ended with a soap-up and a quick ten second fresh water rinse. Then we had dinner in the rain under the tarp. After that we had an aquaculture debate in the salon, which proved that it was not always beneficial to have fish farming.
