Hello, hello to everyone back home! Watch team 2 season 2’s (myself, Michael, Penelope, Jack, Klay, Pieter, and Emma) day started off early with wake-ups at 330 for our 4-8 sunrise watch. A lot of us had trouble sleeping due to sliding back and forth in our bunks as the sea state got pretty moderate/rough through the night. We all geared up in full foulies but thankfully didn’t need them – the rain stopped, and everyone’s PFDs and laundry finally got the chance to dry. The sunrise was gorgeous, and the weather was beautiful all day. After taking a post-watch nap from 8-1130, it was time for lunch, thank you head chef Klay! The last rotation of the job wheel begins tomorrow, so everyone gets to do their current job just one more time on day 90. Following lunch was marine bio class where we took our fourth Fish ID Quiz. Then we all went over our EFR knowledge reviews and took the exam just before a yummy dinner of spaghetti with homemade red sauce and GARLIC BREAD! The bread was cooked on the stove by Anton and Kelsey because the oven gave us trouble, and it was delicious. Now, everyone’s finishing their clean-up jobs and settling down for the night. And that’s about it for another day in the middle of the Pacific! P.S. Happy birthday to Molly’s sister Anna! I hope it was a great one. Current Location: 7*02.895’S 120*08.774’W Current TTA (time to arrival) 9d09h, however, will probably be sooner as we’re only moving 5.5kts right now. Bye for now, and see you all on day 90 🙂
