Hello, fellow blog reader enthusiasts.

Finally, the stormy weather is behind us as we motored from Les Saintes to latitude 16 degrees 10.26’N and longitude 0.61 degrees 46.786’W. During our passage, we had Oceanography, where Mother Sam taught us about the waves and tides. Riveting stuff!

The travel was quick and easy! We got to our destination in about 4 hours and had a Seamanship class taught by Captain Nick. We got the ~privilege~ of putting our algebra, geometry, and comprehensive skills to the test as we figured out how to properly plot and use charts.

Food Master team (Genius Ginny, Popping Peyton, and Killer Kas) was fantastic in the kitchen as they created several gourmet dishes while many of the other weirdos, including Ari, Ray, Elodie, Sissy, Maris, Jake, and AJ, did front and black flips off the boat.

The most interesting that happened today, by far, is the creation of our song:
~ Sing this in the tune of the Phineas and Ferb’s theme song ~

40 days of Seamester Cation
And class comes along just to end it.
And the annual problem for our generation is finding a good way to spend it.
LIKE MAYBE
marking a chart or hauling a dingy
or diving in a coral reef
stubbing your toe on a horrible D-ring
or maybe even a cleat.

Doing anchor watch, creating messy pots
or locating Captain Nick’s brain
(it’s in the engine room)
Finding Ari’s clothes, hiking volcanoes
or driving Meghan insane
(“Jaaake”)

As you can see, there is a whole lot of stuff to do before school starts this fall.
(come on, Slash!)
So sail with us cause Ocean Star’s crew is gonna do it all! (x2)

(Ssaaaaamm, the Fo’c’sle boys are doing something weird again)

Have the best day ever!
Love,
The Stallion
