Early this morning, we completed our 17-hour passage to Saba! It was a challenging voyage for many of us, but we maintained positive attitudes and watch teams take good care of Ocean Star all through the night. When we first caught sight of Saba, we were all stunned by how gorgeous the island was. Soon after, we began our trek up “The Ladder,” a long staircase from the rocky beaches up to the towns and homes of Saba. Hitchhiking to the windward side of the island was definitely an adventure and a highlight of the day! Some of us got rides to a jewelry shop with amazing glass-blown jewelry, some visited an awesome scuba shop with a super friendly store dog, while others explored the island and shopped. We met only endlessly helpful and friendly people on Saba. Another wonderful day on Ocean Star!
