Location: Almerimar, Spain

Hello, it’s Emily again. This is my 3rd time writing the blog, even though Im not a skipper, but I again don’t mind taking pictures and talking about my day (I also wrote Matthew’s blog). Today we woke up bright and early to go to Alhambra (it was only 6:15). We had a 2-hour bus ride, which was god sent considering everyone got extra sleep and was much happier throuught the day, but it was freezing in the morning so right after we stepped off the bus we were freaking bright-eyed and bushy tailed. Walking to the castle, we didn’t really expect there to be much around, but we were pleasantly surprised when we were done because the architecture around Granada was breathtaking. There were tons of rose gardens, and I think I smelled the best-smelling flower I have ever smelled in my entire life. Even though Alhambra was crowded, it was incredibly nice to see the details that were put into the buildings and towers. Afterward, Alexa, Amelia, Teagan, Samantha, and I all got a late lunch at a beautiful restaurant in a garden right next to the castles, and we went to walk around and shop for the rest of the day. I would highly recommend getting dark chocolate in Spain. I don’t even like sweets, and I can house a whole giant bar of dark chocolate in like 5 minutes. Anyways, as for Nacho, who was off today and is supposed to be writing this blog, he went on a hike to get away from the chaos, so that is all you need to know about his day. It was probably his favorite day from the past month.

After dinner, the crew ventured out into the streets of Almerimar to celebrate Oktoberfest, even managing to get front row tickets to Groovy Phil ;).

PS, Miss Carrie Mae, I will bring you back some gifts, im also already making my Christmas list. I love you and miss you lots, sugar plum.
