Location: Les Saintes, Guadeloupe
Today was such a blast! We had an early shore day and went for breakfast and lunch. We had breakfast at a French cafe. I had a pain au chocolate and a coffee. Later, we swam and did some shopping. Unfortunately, when we returned to Ocean Star, our captain, Drew, told us he had to depart for medical treatment. We hope he heals quickly and returns before the end of program. Later, we lifted anchor and motored over to Guadeloupe. Once we arrived, we made a cake and played sea shanties. It was a thank you to Drew for everything he has done for us and always putting a smile on our faces. It was a bittersweet moment, but were glad he will be getting better.
