Today was the crew’s first full day on the Pacific!
Wake-ups were promptly at 8:00, meaning we all got an extra hour to catch up on some much-needed sleep after a very early day yesterday. Our head chef, Gabe, made a yummy mango fried rice for breakfast before we all moved on to classes for the day. After a content-heavy day of both Biology and Oceanography, it was time for lunch. Shortly after lunch, everyone got ready to go to shore for a few hours to check out the marina we are currently anchored off of. Our shuttle, Nopadone, took groups towards the dinghy dock, and then we were free to explore! We all got some good shopping and sightseeing in before it was time to go back at 1600. After making it back home to Argo, we all worked together during Boat to Bed to rinse some lines, put fender covers away, as well as tighten up on a few halyards. Then, it was time for dinner, and another day quickly came to an end! Stay tuned for more adventures in Panama City 🙂 Until next time!
