Location: Ladder Bay, Saba
Today after breakfast the crew was informed that one of their members would be in need of some medical care- found only in Saba. No need to worry Mom’s and Dad’s- this was part of a scenario that led to our first shipmate-led passage, from Statia to Saba. The crew rallied- plotted our route on the chart and began readying Ocean Star for passage. We set sail on a nice broad reach with the wind behind us, guiding us toward the land of leprechauns and unicorns. Upon arrival to Saba we struck sails, were greeted by some rain but the helm skills of sir Nashley got us safely on the mooring in time for showers and dinner prep. The rain kept us down below for dinner, but we’ll be finishing up the night with a fun movie for MTE.
