Location: St. Vincent

We set sail today for St. Vincent. An island Ocean Star has not seen for the past four years and a completely new destination for the entire crew. We raised sails at 9 am and sailed for almost six hours with no motor, something we have not done for almost a week now. The passage was smooth, and the crew was working together quicker and more efficiently than ever. Sails went up and came down in record time, tacks happened with minimal hands-on deck, and on sails, we kept a steady heading the entire passage and launched a dingy in seas and retrieved it quicker than we anticipated. The one downside of our passage was we lost a race against a ferry named Gem Star. Other than the defeat in the race of the Stars, we had a fast-paced trip to a new location that we were all anxious to get acquainted with. Ocean Star crew member #12
