Another action packed day started promptly at 07:00 with breakfast. The crew then got ready for a morning hike up Statia’s volcano. We were met on the shore by a local dog that quickly became attached to Travis. The dog willingly joined the grop for the ascent to the volcano. With a relaxed break at the crater edge some ventured down into the crater. We then made our way back down into town. There was a little shopping at the store for some much needed candy (Audrey). The local library was sought for the internet so emails and facebook could be checked. The afternoon was filled with an amazing wreck dive of a 280 ft AT and T cable laying ship. We were able to enter a portion of the wreck and swim through it. Dive group two reported seeing a nurse shark. After a big meat loaf dinner we had OCE class then sailing preparations for our moring sail to Saba tomorrow.
