Location: Rome, Italy
Today was our day trip to Rome. We all woke up at 5:45 in the morning to have breakfast, pack lunches, and walk to the train station for our 6:55 departure. Upon arriving in Rome, we walked to the Colleseum and beat the tremendous lines that formed soon after. Then, we took a group photo at the forum before splitting up into groups to see the many monuments and gelaterias. The Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Vatican, and Piazza Navona were a few of the destinations we visited. We hopped on the 5:40 train back to Civitavecchia to shower before our dinner/night out. Tomorrow, we are departing for our longest passage to date, which will be a 4-day sail to Palma in Mallorca.
