You may be wondering to yourself what the meaning of this title is, and to that I say, be patient, I will explain in a moment. Since there are no rules saying what exactly I have to do for this blog, Im just gonna write about our day backwards. As the remainder of the crew cleans up from dinner, I chuckle to myself for creating my own entertainment during the squeeze at dinner. I selected four people throughout the day and asked them to include four words during their time to talk at the squeeze. The words were rooftops, exit, sunset, and microphone. Then, at the squeeze, I asked everyone to say their key memory for the day and what a phrase was that didnt exist but should. For example, the rooster might not crow twice – if an opportunity presents itself, take it because it might not come around again. Now, during the squeeze, as the question was passed around, the four crew members who were chosen went one by one, explaining how their memories included rooftops and sunsets, microphones and exit signs, which slowly became more hilarious as the rest of the crew tried to figure out why multiple people had memories of microphones and rooftops. Each person who was chosen also had no idea that there were more people with words, which ended in a hilarious line of questioning as to who had words and who didnt. Amongst my funny shake up during the squeeze we received some pretty funny phrases like, hamster heart attack, exiting the rooftops(one of the crew with the words), that pie has sailed????? And many others.

Before dinner, we headed over to shore on the main island of Guadeloupe, where a lovely flowing hot spring gushed into the ocean, which resulted in a warm bath-like sensation with hot water near the surface and the colder ocean water beneath. Unfortunately, I wasnt able to go, but I heard from the crew that it was a delightful time. It also appeared to be a family hangout for the locals, which was fun as it meant there were people to talk to and food to try!

Before we arrived here, we had to get here, which was the remainder of our day. This morning, we put the sails up after a few missed attempts and got going towards where we are now. The main island! Along the way, we spotted a turtle, lobster pots, and the most menacing of them all. Water spouts! As scary as they sound(they probably are scary), we found ourselves in safety as we were a few miles away from experiencing the newest Sharknado film. And that brings us to a bitter moment, faced by the crew in the early light of the morning as our friend CJ boarded a ferry to go home. CJ, we hope you are reading this, got home safely, and enjoyed your time. We all miss you very much.
