Location: Mayreau, Grenadines
Off to Mayreau we go, it is time to set sail once again for a morning adventure. We had some trouble raising the anchor but it was soon fixed and we sailed out of the Tobago Cays. We took the whole morning to sail around the reefs, tacking and jybing and generally enjoying a morning sail. When we arrived at Mayreau we dropped anchor and had lunch, after which we had an oceanography quiz followed by a hull scrape lab where we collected lots of specimens growing on the hull of Ocean Star, identified them and then looked at them through the microscope. After that some of us went to the beach, Chris and Adam found some delicious coconuts while Dan snorkeled and Kirsty and did some running along the beach. After dinner we had an MTE class and then went promptly to bed after staying up late last night to finish off writing our essays.
