Location: Mayreau
Today, we continued exploring the Grenadines, both above and below the waterline. In the morning, we went diving on a local wreck, The Puruni, a First World War ship, which I think all the shipmates really enjoyed. It was encrusted with life and was another great example of an artificial reef, although I am not sure its captain would agree. In the afternoon, all the crew went ashore for lunch and mingled with the cruise ship tourists while walking around the unique island of Mayreau with views over the stunning Tobago Cays. For this event, we will be getting Ocean Star ready to sail in the morning, but not before we test our knowledge of what Marine Biology we have learned in that last quarter.
