Location: Savannah Bay, Virgin Gorda

Today the crew woke up for our first morning in Savannah Bay, a very beautiful setting located on Virgin Gorda with long stretches of pristine beaches. Those who were not yet certified for their open water diver continued their training off of a dock while the rest of the crew went to shore and went on a hike to explore some different parts of the island. After everyone returned to the ship, the students had some time to kill before setting up dinner, so some played card games while others practiced their flips off the vessel. After a dinner of Mac & Cheese, the students all gathered in the onboard classroom for a training course in EFR from the divemaster Jack. It was a very long day filled with lots of fun in the sun, and lots were accomplished. Tomorrow we sail for the first time, so there is much to look forward to.
