Location: Les Saintes, Guadeloupe

What a beautiful day! Les Saintes has been its own blessing in every way, from clear blue calm waters to a clear open blue sky. We woke up this morning with a nice gentle breeze and a calm light mist from the heavenly skies above. Throughout the day, the breeze turned into a great gust of wind from Zeus himself, Creating a cold atmosphere, but nevertheless, we, the crew, pressed on into another day of prepping for scuba-diving and taking to the seas. This was our first experience of scuba diving on this trip in waters that have more visibility than just a murky abyss into the unknown. The water here in Les Saintes is incredible. It’s clear blue and full of life. Lots of fish and jellyfish swimming around like a school of ballerinas gliding gracefully through the water. Some people even saw an octopus crawl its little way through the sea reeds. Overall, today was a great and blissful day in Les Saintes. I couldn’t ask for anything more amazing. I almost forgot that we took a test on diving, and all passed pretty pretty crazy.
