Another day on the ocean! Each watch had some crazy bioluminescence on the night watches that lit up the only waves around- our wake as we moved through the water. Watch team 3 also saw StarLink pass through the night sky- or what Heather and Amanda like to claim was a UFO star snake. Our main events today were VHF class, where we learned radio communication and the underlying science behind radio signals. We also had oceanography, where we learned about the chemical composition of the oceans. We were also visited by some dolphins in the afternoon and had delicious meals from our head chef Dima! Overall, today was filled with class, naps, and fun times. Can’t wait for the last few days of the passage to bring us more laughs and marine creatures!
