We woke up to a good breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon and toast followed by an oceanography class on marine management. After oceanography we had free time to go ashore until about 11 when we met back on Ocean Star before going over to the other school ship on the dock, The Spirit of Massachusetts. We had the opportunity to tour each others boats and learn a little about what each program is doing. After the tour and optional lunch on the boat, we had more time onshore where some of us took our first fully freshwater showers of the trip. After some time to beautify ourselves, we got together to before our night out at Shirley Heights. The night out was filled with good music and dancing, so all in all it was a very good day.
