Location: Gustavia, St Barth's
We arrived at the beautiful island of St Barth’s at 07:00 after an eleven-hour night passage from Barbuda. The passage was as smooth as could be on seas made of glass. The wind didn’t help us very much, but the relaxing motor was a nice break from our recent intense sails through squalls and strong seas. Shortly after our arrival, we set up “Camp Ocean Star,” began a much-needed Boat Appreciation, and sent our team of provisioners to the grocery store. When the chores were finished, we had a delicious lunch of fresh French cheese and baguettes, shortly followed by some dinghy runs to shore. We had a good amount of shore time to explore our last French island. Then, we ended the night with an oceanography class. All around, a calm and beautiful day in the Caribbean.
