Location: St. Barths
What a perfect day it was for our day of surfing on the coast of St. Barths! Before making our way to the beach, we had a recap of the science behind wave formations from our resident surfer-girl and oceanographer Carolyn. This definitely helped inexperienced and experienced surfers alike understand how to best master them. Once we arrived to the beach, the waves were tubular, the sun was shining, and the crew successfully conquered many waves that claimed one GoPro in the process. But who needs technology when you are in the beautiful paradise that is the Caribbean?! Along with surfing, we got to relax on the beach, snorkel amongst fish getting thrashed by the waves and spend a little time at the end of it all in the luxury that is the city of Gustavia. All in all it was a great way to spend our day in St. Barths before we move onto Ile Forchue tomorrow.
