YO! Today we actually did somthing out of the ordinary. We still completed our night watches and then watch team 1 had the 8-12 am shift. Shane gave me, Hayes, Rooke, and Ella the chore of polishing all the stainless steel. Argo is so shiny now! Then we all gathered in the cockpit to eat fried rice for lunch prepared by Macy and Emma. At lunch nick announced the great news that we are going to go for a swim in the middle of the Atlantic! We took down the and flaked the sails which wasnt very difficult since the wind speed was like 7 knots. Avery did some front flips off the bow, while Henry, Jack, Shane, Charlie and Alex played water polo. Some of us even took the opportunity to take ocean showers. After our 30 minute swim we were all given free sun shirts to wear as we put the sails back up to get some content for Huk apparel (pictures to come) Mimi Muffin, Andrew, and Dylan participated a lot in putting up the sails. At this point dinner was basiscally ready and we were exhausted from our busy day but we still had class. We had leadership first and took personality tests. In seamanship, we continued to practice our boat walkthroughs to and memorize all of the standing and running rigging for a test we have coming up. For dinner we had taco bowls and are now settling into our night watch routine.
