Today was a rather relaxing day, that is, until we realized that we had an OCE and MTE final basically back to back. As you would guess studying for and taking our finals consumed the majority of the day. After all the tests were over, there was little to do other than lounge around and enjoy each others company and wait for dinner. Dinner was great Boxed Mac and Cheese delicious! Following clean up the crew began preparing for the much anticipated “Culmination Dive”( a dive comprising of a wreck, at night, which requires navigationall the advanced dives rolled into one!) Tragically however as we approached the dive sight, some weather rolled in out of nowhere, forcing us to abort the dive. Everyone is trying to get everything they can out of these last few days aboard OceanStar. I hope you have enjoyed the update!
