Today began early for the crew of Ocean Star, with 6:45 wake-ups for a morning swim test. After getting out of the water and eating breakfast, we loaded numerous cartloads of food onto the boat, and prepared to get underway. Leaving the dock we got sails up and headed towards White Bay, our destination for the night. It was a beautiful sail up, 1 rain shower excepted, and the crew enjoyed learning to sail Ocean Star in a new and wonderful setting. After arriving and anchoring, we all enjoyed a well earned swim before dinner. I’m excited for a semester on board with a brand new crew of eager learners.
