Location: Soll’er, Mallorca
Today marks the AQ team’s first time in Soll’er! Everybody got a good night’s rest and slept in until 8 am. To start the day, everybody gathered in the cockpit to munch on some eggs, bacon, and potatoes; a classic American breakfast. Afterwards, we tidied up Argo with lots of scrubbing, sweeping, and cleaning out the galley in our cool new Huk shirts. Once the cleaning was over, the part we had been anticipating had come; it was time to head to the Soll’er lighthouse. We all got into the dinghys and headed over to shore, passing through the beautiful marina. To get to the trail head, it was about a 16-minute walk through town, making us excited about some time to shop tomorrow. We hiked to the scenic lighthouse, and some people were able to stop for some creature comforts like smoothies. Once we completed our excursion, we all dingied back to the beautiful Argo, watching her from a distance, finally understanding why passerby’s jaws drop in awe every time they see her. Everyone gathered to eat the chilli and cornbread for dinner, so kindly made for us by the staff, all talking amongst ourselves about the thrilling day we had. As we clean up from our meal of chilli and the sun begins to set, we all anxiously await the morning for another beautiful, action-packed day in Mallorca. Goodnight!
