Wow, what a day! After some crew were on anchor watch last night, we had an early start with oatmeal for breakfast at 7. In the morning we spent our time reviewing SCUBA homework and preparing our gear for the afternoon. We had yummy tuna salad sandwiches for lunch, everyone very anxious and excited to breathe underwater for the first time! The crew was split into two SCUBA groups and we learned the basics of SCUBA in the beautiful crystal, clear water at Savannah Bay. Everyone was so energetic and pumped about SCUBA diving. After about 3 hours we were pruned and head back to O-Star. We enjoyed jumping off the boat. We took the dinghies and headed to the beach. We played football, frisbee and soccer and enjoyed getting to know one another on a sunny, amazing afternoon. A couple hours later back to jumping off the boat for showers. Sloppy Joes and story time during dinner! What an awesome day, can’t wait to wake up tomorrow. We have an amazing group.
