Location: Tarragona, Spain

Hey hey!! Today was a pretty epic day (no big shock there all days are pretty epic here). We started the morning at our usual time of 7 am with wakeups followed by an ON TIME (!!!!!!!!!!) breakfast of beans on toast brought to you by the one and only James (pronounced ham-es). Oh, wait backtrack a minute I almost forgot the best part of the morning. Yeah, so while the Ham-es was cookin up the luxury beans on toast, he may have accidentally burnt the toast a bit too much, causing the fire alarm to go blaring around 6:45 am. Oops. Eh, I cant blame him; Ive had my fair share of setting off the fire alarm. It happens to the best of us, I guess. We are in a marina with about 20 gazillion-dollar yachts, so we were definitely the cause of many tired deckhands this morning. SORRY!!

Anywho, back to our day. Following the stellar breakfast, the students had leadership presentations brought to you by Cat, Talia, Audrey, Max, and Theo. We then headed to the ruins of an old amphitheater here in Tarragona! We all walked together along the board, right on the water, and over to the theater. Tarragona has a beautiful boardwalk it might be my current favorite running route in the world! We walked around the old ruins before all going our own ways for a bit of free time before dinner.

Dinner tonight was a fun sign-out night at the pizza place right on the dock. All 31 of us spread down one mega table for sure a sight to see. Eduardo was the real MVP during dinner for helping translate and communicate with our waiter. Many sweet convos were had and kilos of flour and cheese (except Eliza dont worry), were consumed. All things worthy of putting a big ol smile on all of our faces.

My day wrapped up with the mass production of bagel making in the galley for an early morning breakfast before the students head to Barcelona for the day tomorrow. Shout out to Amy for hanging out with me in the galley!

Thats all for today, folks! Thanks for tuning in for todays blog. Sending lots of love to my family and all the families back home. We all love you, and we cant wait to share all of our epic stories with you.

Xoxo, EG
