Location: Galleon beach, Antigua
Our day began with our dive being canceled due to heavy swells at our dive site. Despite being past us already and rerouting our whole trip, Hurricane Beryl apparently thought it necessary to throw further wrenches into our plans. Instead of the dive, we hiked to the Mermaid Pools, our initial afternoon activity. Ben wore his epic trainers. It rained during the hike, which was very refreshing, but the hike wasnt too difficult. The pools were very beautiful and had tons of rocks to scramble on. After that, We had our Boat Olympics on the beach. There were tons of wacky events, like Fender rodeo(I will not elaborate). Ocean Star technically ended up winning, but we were victorious in my heart. The cat people decided to swim back to the boat from the beach. We did a group workout, and Ally brought us all sodas and juice. I tried a Ting, which tastes like a combination of Squirt and Orangina. Twas very delicious. We had dinner, which included chicken that didnt come from a can. What a great Day!
