Location: Underway to Saint Helena

Welcome to day 5 of passage? Ive already lost track. Welcome to the time warppppp!!!! Anywho, today started at 3:30 this morning for watch team one (Me, Perry, Reed, Nashota, and Alexa. Have any of you ever heard of a groler bear? I dont know if I believe it, but apparently, its a mix between a grizzly bear and a polar bear. Also, apparently, you have to have an AC by law in Florida? Learning lots of new things over here.

Flash forward time travel with me.
Yaaaaaawhhhhhoooooyaaaaaa
(That was the time travel)

Ok, welcome to lunch made by the one and only Alexa. She had her doubts,s but she came out on the other side with a delicious pasta salad full of olives, mozzarella, salami, and Italian dressing. It was almost perfect the only thing missing would be to eat the meal in candle light (Nashotas dream).

Ok, time travel again
Blooopbloooooooopyaaaaa

Ok, its class time. Seamanship and Marine Bio on the menu today. Everyone is getting ready to take their ICC exam (International Crew Competency Exam). Sam has made an epic slide show review, so Im sure everyone will pass with flying colors. Marine bio started with a fish ID quiz followed by a lecture on some more marine bio-y things (shoutout Perry, yay fish!!)

Now, we cant time-travel for this one because it was happening simultaneously, but let me walk you through it. Head, water, flush, no drain. Uh. Oh. Spaghetti. Oh. Do not fret, my friends! It is a great thing that Kyler and I had many broken heads on our boat at Action Quest this summer because together we saved the day! Just two friends in the engine room fixin poo problems together. A true bonding experience.

We nearly caught two fish today, but alas, according to Henry, our hooks are pretty bad, so we lost both. (Sad face)

zoooomzoooomzooooooom (weve advanced in the concept of time yet again!)

Alexa comes out of the galley with a smashingly delicious meal of chicken, potatoes, and so many different veggies that she doesnt even know what she made. It was definitely a hit, though. I sure loved it.

A baby. A muffin. Which is which?
Im a girl. I sneeze. Im a boy. WHAT?!?!?! (Chaos in full force)

The squeeze question of the day: would you rather not be able to tell the difference between a muffin and a baby, or switch genders every time you sneeze?

The answers varied, but for me, I dont wanna cook my baby at 425 by accident. Nor do I wanna go into a bakery with my child and see a display case full of babies and a muffin in my stroller.

Anywhosies, thats a wrap for today. Passage has been just splendid, and weve all been having a blast getting into the swing of the passage routine.

Sending all the love to all the families at home reading this, and especially to mine. I love you all around the world a million times.

Love love love,
Emma
